Christmas Decorations

Mommy was excited to finally decorate a real fireplace mantel. (Wouldn't a nice big family picture look great above the fireplace... hint, hint, Daddy!)

Today our house got Christmas-ized. Okay, we all know that isn't a real word, but it seems to sum up all the decorating that went on today. Mommy didn't want to put up the big tree since we will not home to enjoy it during the week of Christmas, but I finally convinced her that it was worth all the work. First we put up the big tree then Luke and my little trees. Mommy dressed up the fireplace mantel next. We all helped put up icicle lights along the front of our house outside. Our neighbors were outside Christmas-izing their yard as well, so of course Luke and I had to help them. Our outside lights look a little plain compared to houses down the street with candy canes and blow up Santas, but at least it is something.
