Sickly September

Hello folks! September is turning out to be the month of sickness for our family. Nothing photo-worthy about sinus headaches, runny noses, sore throats, sneezes and fevers. I started it all back over Labor day weekend, I quickly passed it to Luke (nice of me to share =)), then Daddy, and finally Mommy. My cough was still lingering when I started running a fever again this past weekend so it seems like I've been sick the whole month. Looks like we are on round 2 of colds. Mommy would like my school friends to keep their germs to themselves. So far we have gone through 4 boxes of tissue since this whole mess started. We are all praying that next month will be much more newsworthy. On the upside, I was chosen as student of the month for my class. Sadly, I was sick today and didn't get to go the the awards ceremony. Mommy did get me donuts and punch (the menu for the missed ceremony) so I really didn't miss that much. I'm still loving 1st grade and have been doing great behaviorally and academically at school. Oh, and Luke is still the same crazy 3 year-old monster we know and love!
