We went back to Corpus Christi for Mother's Day and did our first T family camping trip. We stayed on the beach at Mustang Island State Park. It was tons of fun. Luke and I had a blast chasing crabs in the dark, seeing jelly fish, making sand castles and moats, finding sea shells, keeping our food away from the seagulls and sleeping in a real tent. I even peed in a port a potty twice! The beach is my new favorite place in the whole world. Luke wanted to take Nana and Papa with us, but they are in MN working. Our neighbors could make it either, hopefully next time. When we arrived on Friday night, it was 8pm and getting dark fast. We weren't able to get many pictures that night, these are from the next morning. Mommy says camping on the beach can be summed up in two words, sandy and damp. Mostly sandy. And damp. But lots of fun! The last picture is of what we believe to be a jelly fish that was still inflated and washed up on the shore. There were other deflated jellyfish as well that just looked like blobs of clear goo. This one had great colors!
